The aim of the training was to enable participants to gain new knowledge and techniques in milking systems pertinent to raising quality and handling. The training covered:
– Technological units of a facility and their dimensions
– Micro-climate parameters (air composition, temperature, humidity and light)
– Air systems in open, semi-open and closed systems of breeding dairy cows
– Milking systems
– Milking equipment, types and capacities
– Milk robots, usage, advantages and deficiencies
– Procedures with milk after milking, milk cooling and heat pumps
